VIP Mentoring and Netlink Foundation have teamed up to bring at-risk children hope through mentoring.  VIP Mentoring has been working to break the cycle of truancy, dependency, abuse and incarceration for at-risk children and adults for more than 35 years.  Today, VIP Mentoring continues to be composed of an efficient, results-driven team of professionals dedicated to matching at-risk youth, 7 to 14 years of age, with responsible, caring adult mentors.

Although we have made great progress, according to Mentor Michigan, in January 2011 there were over 3,000 at-risk children on waiting lists in Michigan who were in need of the positive influence of a mentor.  The guidance mentors can provide has the potential to enhance life skills, provides youth with opportunities for making valued contributions to self and society, and promotes positive youth development.  To help change the future of our community through at-risk children . . .
